The Cat in the Hat
I am awake. I watch myself staring at Pisu Misu. For a second, I realize this is not the first time I sit still, doing nothing but stare at Pisu Misu. She herself sits still, but it seems she is doing all these different things at the same time: she moves her tail slowly, barely touching the wooden table that she sits on, she moves her ears one after another in different directions, she moves her eyes almost continuously, she moves her little nose and she scratches the wood with her nails very gently. Every little part of her seems to be in movement . And she’s in the same place where she was just Now.
I am enjoying every moment of her stillness and movement. And doing so, I realize I am starring at myself moving and sitting still. Now, I am Home.
Pisu Misu, Thank you for being
